Summer 2023

So far, the show I've been best about keeping up with is Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu or The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today. About an Office Lady who, while decent at her job, has absolutely not got her shit together at home, who took in a Kitten she found in the snow. He has realized that since he has committed to go with her, he has to make sure his meal ticket is properly cared for. Somewhere along the line he grew to the size of a bear. He cooks and cleans, takes out the garbage (cursing at the crows who seem to know what day of the week it is), and even shops at the local market, where a suspicious clerk is convinced he's a guy in a very well-done suit (the customers love him and the manager is wondering if he can hire him). The girl has become paranoid about people at work finding out about her cat for some reason. But she LOVES what he does for her, since she no longer has to live amid her own trash and he's an excellent cook. Oh, and she's kinda got a crush on her handsome boss that she can't admit to. Of course.

Spy Kyoushitsu - I haven't finished watching the first season, so I'm just downloading it in the hopes that I will finally get around to it.

Jobless Reincarnation: Likewise.

Helck - Wasn't planning on it but I saw fan art of a blonde-haired blue-skinned chick with black sclera and golden eyes. So I was curious. It starts with a tournament, so that's already a strike against it, but that ends soon, I hope. I'm only an episode in. The blue chick is an "Immortal" not a zombie or undead as far as any translation hqas been able to tell me.

Oh? What's it about? The demon lord was killed by a Human hero. There's a tournament to replace him. And a human hero has entered because there's no rule against it. The demoness running the event is livid, and since she's a fire demon, things blow up around her, especially when each new event instead of regular fighting she tries to implement results in another win for Helck. Even worse, he's a crowd favorite, ever since he proclaimed he wanted to kill all humans. Turns out it was his brother who offed the demon lord, and he was opposed.

Oh, and I also downloaded the rest of Nier, but I've lost a lot of momentum on watching it because of the break.
